LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT
The challenges are immense and these demand a high degree of hope-filled determination!
Rebuild, like all in Afghanistan, is operating within a political framework that is in turmoil and a political framework that operates amidst constant uncertainty.
Many questions and debates remain unclear, including what constitutional provisions and societal values will be supportive of civil society and of businesses such as Rebuild. Will the value-based leadership training, coaching, and mentoring and higher education that is demanded by globalization, be supported in practice by government, in either the short or the long-term future?
Rebuild chooses carefully how we prioritise our commitments. We address demands for success and quality while simultaneously advocating principles of respect for all, of equity and of integrity in all our dealings both within Rebuild and in the wider Afghan context.
In line with our vision of a transformed Afghanistan that is renowned and respected throughout the world, there are immense opportunities.
To be good in any of these areas is challenge enough. To be excellent demands wisdom and commitment of an altogether different order! That is, if we are to immerse ourselves in the virtually untapped potential of the rising generation of Afghan young people, enabling them to transform themselves into a nation that positively impacts the world.
